Synopsis

A chilling psychological thriller where a young historian named Cora becomes captivated by her family's dark past. She discovers that her ancestors, a Black family in Knoxville, Tennessee, survived a violent race riot in 1919 by hiding in a network of underground tunnels. Drawn to the city's hidden history, Cora is tormented by a sinister presence that seems to emanate from the very tunnels her family used. As the apparitions and disembodied voices intensify, her grip on reality begins to fray. The line between historical memory and present-day horror blurs, forcing Cora to confront whether the terror she experiences is a shared trauma reaching across generations or a malevolent force intent on claiming her sanity. To survive, she must decipher the secrets of the tunnels before she's consumed by the darkness within them.
